You have a choice of 5 swimming pool areas, each with it's own children's pool, and plenty of sun loungers available. Also on site are 2 tennis courts for guests to use, with racquets for hire, or there are a couple of racquets in the apartment which can be used, to save you bringing your own.
There is ample car parking available at Monte Dourado.
Internet access is available at reception, where the staff speak several languages and are always on hand to help with any queries or requirements you may have.
There is a supermarket 2 minutes' walk away which is open daily. The local municipal Market is a similar distance and is open every day except Sundays for any fresh produce.
A five minute stroll down the hill finds you in the centre of Carvoeiro, with it's abundance of shops, restaurants and bars and Carvoeiro beach beyond.
